The friends of Palms for Life and all of the members of the Global Alliance to End Poverty are deeply moved by the tragedy that resulted in Haiti from the catastrophic and devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010. Palms for Life is not an operational organization and as such, we are not involved with the current emergency phase, which is best carried out by the world's large humanitarian organizations. However, we are closely monitoring the situation and will mobilize help for the people of Haiti after this emergency phase is over and we have more clarity about how we can help the affected families rebuild their lives.
