Kate Priest has a 21 year background as a media producer, entrepreneur, marketing strategist and event planner. Her global media campaign for Sting’s Rainforest Foundation in the early 90’s culminated in a Hollywood benefit that raised $1 million in an evening and premiered her film “Burning Down Tomorrow” which was later nominated for an Oscar.
Committed to environmental and social activism, Kate has founded organizations that protect tropical rainforest and indigenous populations (Emerald Forest Botanicals), an environmental technology corporation, (Earthstone Intl.) and started the first boat building project in Thailand after the tsunami (Waves of Hope).
Since early 2002, Kate’s consulting company, Imagination Inc., has produced numerous events in New York including two benefits hosted by Alec Baldwin. Kate continues to work assisting clients with event planning and fundraising, strategic marketing and media projects.
